Oh Yes..

Borrowed from my Jamie.

Oh yes, light rain for 2 days
everything looks nice and green again.
On the way to purchase some rye and fescue
seed.   Hopefully it will stop the washing in some areas.

Even my compost pile is growing :)

Love Bob Marley ~ have a good day. Had a chuckle over your compost pile growing. As a novice gardener I’ll take anything that survives.

Those word verifications are awful. I'm glad we can comment naturally now. Your soup sounds wonderful. I am in the mood for fall food.

Mitz and Sky, thanks for visiting.
If my decision is unwise will go back with verification.

Good, I prefer blogs without verification, it's just to tedious to rewrite the illegible letters over and over.

I will gladly join you in feeling the rain, but I also get wet. Congratulations on your compost pile, I love mine more than anything else in my garden.

I'm happy for your rain; we had slow, earth-soaking rain too. The grass seeds are coming up in the pasture, but guess what's found the new grass: wild geese! Surely if it's not one thing, it's another. :)

Without word verification I get spam in my comments now and then, but I just delete them. I simply can't read those letters at times!

Love the quote!

Love the quote...hope I will always remember to "feel the rain." That your compost pile is growing could have multiple meanings, but it certainly means One Woman is staying very busy.

As a Northwesterner, I LOVE the rain but complain a little if it goes on too long. Right now we are having the summer that didn't happen and not a drop of rain in the forcast. The fires on the other side of the mountains are continuuing and our beautiful Seattle sky is thick with haze. WE NEED RAIN!
Thanks for making it easier to comment!
(Ankle is healing, but four weeks post surgery the doc is still not letting me put weight on it.) I am not good at crutches so I hobble between wheelchair and walker trying not to look too much like my mother in her last years.

I have been known to jump into a puddle--dressed to the nines, high heels and all outside a fancy restaurant--I loved the grins on the faces of people watching! Thanks for removing the pesky verification!!!!!!!

Delightful photo and quote. Glad to hear things are greening up down your way. We've had enough rain in Maine to keep things green and growing still. There is a bit of color creeping in around the edges.
