Everything Arises , Evrerything Falls Away - Ajahn Chah

When cottage was finished almost 9 years ago

son had  stored a lot here preparing for move to Bangkok

this reclining Buddha was deteriorating

and he placed him in the woods on a stump.

Have not been able to go back in the woods and view.

An image taken a while ago

but love the look :)

I want to plant some perennials from garden around him :)

He looks so peaceful
and like he is comfortable
in my woods

Your woods are full of surprises. I love the Buddha

My favourite out here are the declining boats. Fading into the earth, looking out at the sea.

It will be interesting to discover the condition of both the stump and the Buddha!

He seems to be telling us to be content and comfortable in every season of life.

I just love your wood and the Buddha adds a wonderful new layer of surprise and peace in the beauty. That will be fun to have a few perennials in that area. Sunshine to you!
