Waiting

Waiting for the phone to ring
or
an email.
That my dear ones are close
to home
I am not good at waiting
Oh,
while I am typing
a new Email has arrived

What I have been waiting for....

They have landed and close to home

Now I can breathe deeply and smile....

Thankful

I am the same way when my kids are traveling...

When I was young traveling and living every where, I'd call home once a month... if it was possible. Otherwise not. And my mother would loyally and valiantly write each of her children once a week. We would write back... occasionally. Now, with flatrates, skype, email,... I remain an anxious mother waiting for some life sign minutes or hours near to the ETA. Crazy.

Beverly, oh yes.
Lilalia, once a month would never do for me...
I wish I could respond on your blog but still will not go through
miss interaction with you...

Guess that's the way it is for all mothers.

When the children are traveling you can't wait until they land safely.

You know, as I typed this I thought - it's not only traveling by plane, car or train - it's traveling through life!!!
