March Ending

New umbrella
Hint of green on the trees
Mayapples emerging in the woods

There is the Heaven we enter through institutional grace and there are the yellow finches bathing and singing in the lovely puddle ~~ Mary Oliver

I have a small woodland garden under a tree in my yard--so far the MayApples, violets, Jack-In-The-Pulpit and Trillum are all still hiding--I looked this morning when I went out to get the mail. It will be a whole month before they emerge around here.

Touches of spring changing your woodland, tender new growing things, a blessed sight.

Love the umbrella and deck and the green garden scuffies!

Mary Oliver, no one touches a truth of nature as she does. Did you read her interview with Maria Shriver? It is in the latest Oprah magazine and online too.

Wishing you a most wonderful day!

We had some lovely may apples a few years ago, but I think our moving in and earth moving put an end to their stay. Maybe new ones will come...wonderful photos, esp. the header.

Ours is to come...this makes me hopeful. Now...if I could get rid of the last two feet of snow!
