Thankful the storm didn't take out your power or ability to receive the photos from your family. Technology IS amazing! Glad help was on its way. Hope the current pattern of storms in your area wear itself out soon...
The storm damage leaves a lot of work. My mom has been dealing with that too. Just a little each day: pile a few branches, gather up a little brush. She is lucky that a good neighbor will help with the heavy lifting or mechanical aspects of things (like opening the automatic garage door when the power goes out and the car is in the way of the pull cord.) I am glad you have some help that comes by too.
Love the artful images you shared.
Marcie, always thinking to ask you about your mom and dad, your mom use to comment
on my sharing.
Yes, concerned about current off and cannot reach cord for garage door
but do have old truck and it is difficult for me use stick shift :)
The digital age allows to live many places at once. It can be a bit threatening but also wonderful to be our loved ones when they are not near by. Do not worry about the yard. It will get cleaned over time.
My computer seems to be my life-line somedays.
To the family and to the outside world.
I always wished I could stand on my head!!
and, always wished I was able to paint--artistically, not paint walls. LOL
Oh that storm look rough. Glad you had a bit of help with it.
I love the pictures, what talent. Technology is wonderful.

Ernestine, My mom doesn't blog anymore and doesn't make the round reading blogs. She is well and busy, but my dad passed away a few years ago so life changed for her when that happened. She is lucky to be in the same home and surrounded by good neighbors, including my first cousin and his family.
Good Morning, Wishing you a pleasant day! :-)
