you did not bloom
and now
how beautiful you are
my beautiful yellow Iris has not bloomed.
Therapy and as always makes me feel so good for several hours. No healing but relief
from pain for a while is wonderful
Lunch
red pepper humus (so good) with chips
ice tea
and a eclair with a glass of milk...
My garden has never looked so awful, full of weeds, need to get use to them, can
remove some and no longer can spray, hopefully most will not have to be cut down
in the future.
Doing all up until a couple of years ago
but now it seems cannot do a lot I want to do
and do not like it.
Guess what is going on
is a lesson on accepting
and realizing
a lot I cannot control
like in the past.
This one
not good at either one...

Life is one big lesson, isn't it?
Your plate looks so appetizing AND nutritious...
Nothing blooming in our "iris patch" yet. I keep looking out the window (it's raining and I can't get out to see if there are buds....) Getting impatient as I see yours looking so lucious!
Love the showy iris! Still several weeks til iris here. So fun to get a peak on your blog. I have some weeds too. So busy! Will tackle some every once in a while when I have a few spare moments on a beautiful day. Often I will dig and divide perennials and get rid of all the weeds in that area as I work. Give away a few plant starts to friends, and have a nice weed free section of garden. It seems rare to have no weeds in the entire garden though. I can't even imagine that!
Hope this coming weekend is pleasant and relaxing for you!
I don't understand how I can have a beautiful Iris one year and the next, it doesn't even bloom. I have weeds too--which is unusual for this time of year, but it has been so cold and rainy, no one around here is in the mood to garden at all.
There are lessons every day, and I find that many of mine are "repeats". Wishing you a sound sleep tonight and a beautiful day tomorrow.
I am learning about acceptance, adapting and having a sense of humor from bloggers who go through challenges. I need to get ready to be more gracious of what may come my way.
That iris is a showoff, I hope she didn't eat your yellow one. Love your lunch. Sorry to hear about your garden and those photos of grandgirls are beautiful.

The iris is gorgeous! Mine have finished with their bloom period; next come the lilies, which I love. Weeds are such a pest!! Our vegetable garden has grass coming like crazy and it's much too wet to plow it, and more rain is in the forecast. Wish I had your talent for fixing such good meals!
Your iris is gorgeous! I'm sorry you're having pain. Your meal looks wonderfully delicious.
Thinking of you on this sunny spring morning and sending best wishes. Hugs to you.
Pienosole, thank you for your kind words and they always make me smile.
Rainy week and cool but think a warm summer will arrive.
You take care and again thank you always for your special words...
