No More Candles`

I have said
"I want no more candles."

But when I opened the small box
I smiled at the little hand painted bird
and the scent of "White Lotus."

Then her words
"when I saw the little bird
mama, I thought of you."

So I smile everytime I look at it
on my nightstand.

Anything that makes us smile is worth the dusting.

What a pretty little candle holder. Everytime you light it you will think of her.I haven't ever smelled a White Lotus candle...the name sounds so pretty...I may indulge and try one.

I love it... Isn't it amazing how some things we think we will not like so much turns into the best present!

It is lovely and you can keep it just as it is--you don't have to light it. I too want no more candles--I have no place to put them where I think they will be safe or I won't forget to blow them out. I can only imagine my Maggie cat checking one out and getting her tail caught on fire and racing through the house. What a disaster that would be! or maybe--I worry about things like that too much?

Judy, I am careful but I do like candles and always burn one on the table when I eat. A reminder to be calm...
