Notice the Bleeding Heart is Blooming
and it has not surfaced this year.

Post written on 3/18/2012

When your 22 year old grandson
contacts you to tell you he wants
to visit you and bring his girlfriend
that is special.

Gavin graduates from Vanderbilt in May.
He is so special and dear to me and I
am looking forward to meeting someone
that has become special to him.
Table set for a desert.
Lemon Ice Box pie in the oven....
Bleeding Heart is blooming
Prayer flags in the woods......

It all sounds lovely and peaceful. Have a wonderful time.

What are the prayer flags? I've never heard of them.

Have a nice day today and a great coming week.

Your grandson and his special friend will be able to feel the love. Your woodlands are beautiful and the food will be delicious.

Love the prayer flags.

Enjoy your day.

Google and reada bout them
They are used in almost every country
I learned about them through some entries I read and also my son had some in his yard. I love seeing them blowing in the wind in the woods. Each flat a special prayer.
Balisha, have not decided. It is a baby and has dug out of my dog pen 6 times. Callie never did this. My daughters and granddaughters say this is wonderful - I saved his life and the Lord sent him to me :)
My son says - "you have all you can handle and do not need him and find him a home"
So another day and night and have not decided.
Sandy, thank you. I am honored
that he wants to bring his friend to meet his grandma...

Another simularity we have, a 22 year old grandson who is so precious to me. He has met a sweet girl that has made such a difference in his life. I kept him a lot when he was little and since he was the first grandson, and I had not had any boys of my own, we just became very close. He always ends his phone calls with, "I love you Mama Charlotte." So I'm feeling your happiness for your grandson's visit.

I don't have advice about the puppy other than to think ahead to when he will be a BIG dog. lol

beautiful everything! i love the table centerpiece with the nest and eggs! aren't you the easter and spring home decorator?! :) and the prayer flags - i keep thinking i would like some for our back gardens. i hope you are able to figure out a way to keep the puppy - i tend to agree with the girls in your family. :D you did save his life and that seemed like the makings of a pretty powerful bond. do you think he is digging out trying to get to you and callie? after all he is a baby. if you decide to keep him, maybe a kennel cage really would be beneficial for him so he can stay inside at night and/or when you are gone? i may have told you our niece used one to train her pup when he was young, and he loves his. he goes into it volunarily now when he gets sleepy, the door remaining open now, even though he has a comfy bed in 2 separate rooms! puppies can just take a while getting acclimated to new surroundings/rules, especially those who've had a hard beginning. no telling what this little fellow has gone through in his young life. he may also be missing his litter mates and mom. :(

Sky, it all sounds good - but after 3 sleepless night - cannot have a baby dog to care for at this time of life - love you - E
