Just Be

I do not wish to treat friendships daintily, but with the roughest courage.

When they are real, they are not glass threads or frost-work, but the solidest

thing we know ~~Ralph Waldo Emerson~~

Moving photo and quote. I love the beauty woodland and warm words that fit so well in our life.

These words are so true and wise and I wonder why we have to go through so many friendships before we realize this?

WM and Tabor, thanks for visiting me this cold morning. Yes, I realize how many people I thought were friends - not so. Takes time for us to realize this :)

I think that having friends is so important...especially for women. The interaction between women is such a thing of beauty. It has been proven that having a close group of friends helps women sleep better, improve their immune systems, stave off dementia and actually live longer.I think we should "coddle" our friendships and appreciate the fact that we are all different.Maybe be a little less critical of other women...Balisha

My son wants to mat and frame this image :)

This photo would be beautiful matted and framed.

I have been lucky in my life to have a friend or two who were that solid ~ that's not something I take for granted.
