My daughter took this image - before she left for the big city........

We used to live next to a field where one of the rotated crops was corn and we swore that we could hear it growing. It seems to squeek. It looks wonderful and healthy. I hope that is true for you as well.

Oh yes, I can see it growing. I feel good. So happy to not have the responsibility of the city home.
The country and the woods have me.

I want your energy!!! Rub a dryer sheet on your arms and legs, and tuck one in your pocket. I think it helps me..... Glad you are enjoying your summer....

Beverly, my energy is nothing like in the past. So much I want to do and run out of steam at noon.
Thank you :)

Ernestine, I really like this picture. I like the layers of blue and green (sky, corn, and grass) and the freshness of your pink and white.

We all have an afternoon lull, Ernestine. That's why they invented the afternoon nap. ;)

Aisling, thank you for calling my attention to the layers of colors.
Yes, I agree on the afternoon lull and the nap. But at my stage of life it is more like an afternoon "crash". Wish it was a lull :)

So, can you sneak a few ears of corn home? ;-)
