Monday Muse

This is my Symphony
To live content with small means;
to seek elegance rather then luxury, and refinement rather than fashion;
to be worthy, not respectable, and wealthy, not, rich;
to listen to stars and birds, babes and sages, with open heart, to study hard;
to think quietly, act frankly, talk gently, await occasions, hurry never;
in a word, to let the spiritual, unbidden and unconscious, grow up through the common --
this is my symphony.

William Henry Channing

Thought from One Woman this early morning

Beverly - thank you. Use anything I post. I usually borrow it from somewhere.

I love musical metaphors. The idea of life as a symphony and the harmony of a life lived simply and elegantly. I've come across similar sentiments and always say "Yes". You can be sure I am adding this to my Grace Notes.

New header and it appears that you are really enjoying spring in your area. You are beginning to sound more at peace.

On Saturday you said " I wonder" but from the looks of things and the speed at which you've orchestrated this new home, you'll have no trouble putting in your gardens.
You are one big ball of energy for sure.
Fun to read about the process.
I've always wanted to build a house, but so far it's been remodeling in the houses we buy.

Cloudhand, Tabor, Mim and Darlene, thank you for your kind comments. You each have become very dear to me.
