Surprising what you can capture with your camera, standing in the middle of a city street. I rushed out without my shoes - in my socks. Lucky a car did not turn the corner. Went back outside 20 minutes later for the first image. Guess there is some beauty on this city lot.
A warm December 28, 2008 - 50 degrees.

How beautiful Ernestine. Just the glimpse of sun and blue sky I needed. We have been in the gray and wet weather for days.
Thanks, and happy no cars came along!
Your photos are so pretty, Ernestine! What gorgeous skies. Ours have been mostly gray lately!
No matter where we find ourselves, there can always be beauty found above, don't you think? I've stood in the middle of a forest clearcut and looked upward, thinking, 'This, too will pass.'
But it's the moon that most often draws my eye, leaving me staggered with the realization that we all - every last one of us - watch and dream upon the same sphere.
Great photos and yes, there is beauty everywhere if we can pause to see it.
Those are beautiful photos! You are getting to be quite the photographer.
Marcia, Aisling, Deborah, Tabor, thank you for visiting and the thinking my photos are pretty. Yes if we take the time we can see beauty wherever we find ourself.
My Jamie, thank you. A compliment from my talented daughter makes me beam this early morning.
Lovely skies. There were two fantastic sunsets when I was in the rehab center; the whole sky was a deep red. Of course, I didn't have my camera and there haven't been any like that since I go home.
Darlene, continue to heal. Thank you for the comment.
Gosh Ernestine, What beautiful pictures you took this time. You are becoming quite the photographer. I just love them.
Great, great photos! You're right - our skies look similar.
