Here it is November 16. Wonder what our winter will be like. It is cold today but the sun is shining. As long as the sun is shining it warms my heart and my spirit.
The early mist had vanished and the fields lay like a silver shield under the sun. It was one of those days when the glitter of winter shines through a pale haze of spring.

I also took a photo of my last two roses that I had cut and brought inside and also the last of my poor hydrangeas. I will have to post. they do not look as healthy or nice as yours. Winter is on the way!
Ernestine, Your roses are such a cheering color. The lack of color is the saddest thing about winter for me, but I've been trying to learn to love it for its own beauties.
How pretty those flowers look on your table!
