BUT
Since she is vegan - totally vegetarian in every way - she prepared a meal at her mom's
She brought me a plate a little while ago.
Oh my, it was good.
Her menu:
Tofu encrusted with pumpkin seeds and fresh oregano
Baked pumpkin and cranberry relish
Garlic roasted Brussels sprouts
Wild rice pilaf with shitake mushrooms
Field greens with maple - mustard dressing
Double corn cornbread with sauteed corn and Pumpkin pie
Sarah whenever you visit and cook, please bring grandma a plate.
You are Good.

Ernestine, Her meal sounds delicious. My daughter is vegan and I am vegetarian (but practically vegan) so our meal was similar. We had a vegetable casserole, roasted veggies (brussels sprouts, sweet potatoes, and green beans), garlic mashed potatoes, wild rice, dinner rolls, and cranberry relish. Both my pies (pumpkin and dutch apple) were vegan too, so we ate well!
Hope your holiday was wonderful. Your granddaughter is a beautiful girl!
My son cooks Brussels sprouts so yummi-fied.....he parboils for a few minutes, then roasts them. To die for...
oh yes, that sounds really good. I like Tofu a lot!
My granddaughter's are barely old enough to cook. I can't wait!
Aisling, Beverly, Liza and Kenju,
This was surely a treat. The first time for this grandmother having a granddaughter bring her something to enjoy. See what you have to look forward to.
My this does sound like a great meal. Makes my mouth water thinking about it. Sarah is so pretty, too, along with those two little dancers that entertained you.
I'm back to say thanks for "following!!"
Judy thank you. Nice to have someone bring me a plate and never expected it to be one of my granddaughters.
Kenju - you are welcome - glad I found you - or you found me!!
