Spring And Life At This Time

In one week my surroundings look like Spring has arrived.
Plants emerging everywhere, my Lilac bush is attracting butterfly's
and the scent of the blooms is wonderful.
Sharing a little of what I view.
Humming birds at the feeders and have not been able to get a good image.
Bird houses full of babies, a snake spotted in the garden, wild flowers emerging
in the woods and enjoy looking at the
horses in the field next door.
This is a month filled with happiness with family making a special visit
and sadness as many I know are not well and some deaths.
This one continues with a lot of sleepless nights because of pain and is trying
to simplify much of the pleasures she enjoys.

My son will be with me several more weeks and continually tells me that I
use a lot of energy doing much that
could just be done less often
or not at all :)

What beautiful blooms foliage and views.

Sometimes, we just have to cut back on things the older we get. We can still enjoy much in life though.

Have a lovely Easter ~ FlowerLady

Beautiful spring! How joyous that your son will be with you for a while. Will be interested to hear of your times together, shared wisdom, etc.

Happy Easter!

You have created a wonderful family and added much beauty to the world. You see and appreciate the changes of the seasons. Dear Ernestine, even God rested. I love you.

Kind of odd when the child becomes the parent...isn't it? Your lilac makes me so jealous as I have not been able to get on to really do well here. Lilacs remind me of my yard when I was a child. Saw my first hummer today and got a really quick photo.

Spring is emerging here also--the Lilacs have budded, as have the trees. I am still looking for a bit of yellow to appear on the Forsythia bush. Perhaps your son is correct, but then again, we have to keep moving and interested or we surely will lose the capacity to do so.

Sky, Lorraine, Pienosole, Judy and Lorraine, thank you for visiting. You will never know what you mean to me and I have never met you in person.
Agree with all of you and my special son. A lifetime of doing everything it is difficult to slow down and not groom constantly what I love to do.
Energy decreasing, trying to be wise and may stop going to doctor
as I am just told to increase medication and I am decreasing.
I am determined...
