Saturday Ends

Did not feel like cooking
and quick tuna and hard boiled egg sandwich
with a cup full of baby lettuce and herbs from my pots.
So good...
Have never had enough
Lilly of the Valley.
Always wanted a field full.
Have a few sprigs :)
and put them by my dinner plate.
My Jade plant
has some seedlings that I am trying to root.
Nothing sweet in this cottage
and son returns in the morning
and there may be a special visitor.
Made a sour cream cake - quickly
and is good with tea...
Must stay off of computer for a few days...

Everyone in this family is too busy
including this one....

You life is rich and full...when are you going to slow down like everyone suggests? Never, I am sure.

So delicious, I am catching up with your posts, love all the old photos, what a project and how honoured your sun must feel to have all those friends join him. And your young granddaughter, so gifted and funny.

Take some time and enjoy your son. The cake looks delicious. A tuna sandwich is a favorite of mine.
Take care,
Balisha

I love, love, love Lilly of the Valley scent. I have a few, but mine don't seem to want to spread like they are supposed to! Enjoy your weekend and days spent with your son.

You always have such tempting food! And with the fresh lettuce and herbs it is so good for you. Hope you have a lovely Sunday and enjoy your time away from the computer.

Looks like a delicious and perfect meal to me!!
I adore lily of the valley, too. The walkway to my grandmother's porch was bordered by large amounts of it on both sides. I used to sit on the steps and inhale that lovely scent.
Enjoy your visit with your son, and I know you will all enjoy the cake, too!!

I really miss my patch of Lilies of the Valley that I had in Illinois. We don't have them here in Hawaii.

Your egg sandwich with baby lettuce looks delicious!
