Memory Trip

My son is in the big city
to meet with special friends he went to grade school with.
This amazes me and they have come from N.Y., Texas, Florida
and hope I am correct that 3 from Nashville and my son from Thailand.

The project I keep putting off.....
The end of the big table
is filled with old pictures and
yesterday
continued going through them, inserting them in envelopes
to send to my children.
This project will take some time :)

Oh the memories
that make me smile
and came across this
that I cross stitched over 30 years ago
while in bed for a back injury
and framed in old barn wood
by a friend....

Happy Saturday!

Memory land indeed. Pictures are mostly good and on occasion some sad.

We are in the 90"s and humid in this part of Florida.

Next week we begin our slow journey out of Florida.

The pictures and albums I look through of younger days with the kids--kind of makes me sad. I wish the marriage had survived and we were ALL still a family unit.

For some reason
going through these at this
time - makes me smile and be thankful - not sad :)
The one image taken in Jamaica,
Beth, Me - the mama - Laurie holding Jamie and then Jimmy :)

Sorting them and writing comments for your children is a marvelous gift. Their lives may be too busy to really appreciate them, but someday, they will just love these.

Tabor, just trying to reduce a lot in this cottage. So much my children have forgotten and now grandchildren love seeing these :)
