I smiled when I saw this image
and thought
it use to be this way
in my imagination....
With hot hot weather continuing
there is not much blooming
in the garden.
But all is well
and I am going out to water.
Good weekend wishes
sent out to all who check in...

What a wonderful photo and I wonder how she is managing that load of flowers.
We had a little rain in the wee hours of yesterday morning. We were in severe drought conditions for 5 years so I understand how all of you are feeling without rain. I do hope you get some soon.
Have a lovely weekend.

Awesome picture! Your imagination soars when you take blooms where you find them.

Happy weekend . . .
I wish that girl would stop here and unload some of those blooms! So hot--but relief promised later tonight.
We are to have another day in the triple digits and then some cooler weather for a few days. The corn and soy bean crops are sad here...probably a total loss. Our Churches are praying for rain.
With news like this...my little garden seems insignificant.Hoping you have a peaceful weekend.

A fun picture...been there, done that...right! And, wow, what a journey I have been on with you...the building of the country cottage and the gardens. Next up is Nov. 1, 2009. Great reading! Thanks!!!

Mary, what a compliment that you are reading all of my ramblings :)
Thank you - and you have a good day.
I suppose I share this dream with you ~ next year, maybe?
Things are very dry here! Maybe rain soon!
Charlotte and Beverly, inside and phone has rang one time.
Almot feel like I am losing it.
I am fine when I can be outside.
Love the flower lady and hope you have finally gotten some rain to wter your beauties.
We are laying low -never went out today - it is so humid and hot here.
Love the Emerson quote, Lynn!
Thank you Cape Cod Kitty. Check out the addition to my profile and you'll learn a little more about me. What a fun Saturday to curl up in Earnestine's cottage and visit. She always has good food and Callie at our feet, a lovely view. Wish she'd come in and join us. Stop deadheading, Ernestine. We need you.
Marcia and Lynn, thank you both for visiting....want some tea and zuchinni bread ?
I missed the colorful post. I love it.
Sandy, thanks for visiting :)
