After The Rain

Everything at Woodhaven looks so sparkling clean and the colors in the woods and in her first Spring garden are so vibrant and beautiful. Plants were moved last fall without much memory of what colors. All put in the ground in her new garden and she is pleased as all unfolds. As each plant blooms it is almost like a gift.

The ground is still damp and it sure makes weeding easy. No weeds in her small 12x12 kitchen garden as it almost washed away. Time will tell what seeds did not wash away.

A lot of water still surrounds the area where my youngest daughter lives.

Wherever you are may you have a day that is filled with peace.

What fun your surroundings have become. Not perfect, no, because you must have something to keep you busy.

Your woods and your flowers are just beautiful. Don't you just love seeing something pop up that you forgot about planting and then watching it grow. Glad you are o.k. and enjoying all the beauty after the rain.

I love seeing the seedlings marching in the direction of the woods. What a joy gardening must be for you.

is that a pond on your property and a freshly sown veggie garden?

i am so excited for you as you face your first spring in your new home. i remember waiting to see our gardens unfold the first spring we were here. FUN! you are right...they are all gifts, each and every bloom.

we think of all the residents in the nashville area and send many good wishes that life there will soon dry out and that the damage to homes and businesses will be repaired quickly. i am sure it is devastating to so many - very ssd to see these the results of natural disasters. so thankful you are safe and dry.

Tabor, Judy, Sky, Lilalia - thank you for checking in.
That is a corn field in front of woods home and the water is a pond that overflowed from the storm into the field.
