A short time away from headache of computer problems and air card. Hope to return in about 10 days when problem is solved. So much has been going on in my life and I may have some good news to share at that time.
Each of you who have become my special online friends - I think of you and will catch up on your postings at that time.

Highlight Of Day
Busy morning as it was first time leaving the woods in almost two weeks. Still had to drive through some water which made me uncomfortable.Errands in town - two groceries, gas in vehicle, post office, trash delivery, Goodwill drop off, stop at hospital for blood work, pickup at friend's home, and on and on.
Arrived home at noon (Callie sitting in front field waiting for her master to return which never fails to squeeze my heart) began awaiting man to place drains on downspouts to help water flow.
Groceries brought in, phone kept ringing, grass to be cut and on and on.
Phone rings and a voice says "grandma it is Gavin - can I drive to the country and visit with you?"
Needless to say grandma was pleased. Exams were finished yesterday and tomorrow he heads home for Tampa and think with this busy time he was going to drive to the country to visit.
What an exciting rest of the year is in store for this special grandson. A few weeks at home with mom and dad and then an internship in New York. Nice because his sister is in that area. Then this fall a term will be spent abroad.
When I think of the opportunities that unfold for my grandchildren - it surely makes me smile and pleases my heart.
Lunch at the local country drugstore and then on the Woodhaven. Such a delight to listen to him share and to see him just relaxing. Many memories of times in the past when visits were made to this property.
I wanted to post pictures of him from the time he was a toddler and would visit grandma in the country - but - alas computer and scanner acting up.
Just wanted to share that One Woman's day ended with a smile on her face and a thankful heart.
Safe traveling wishes and prayers for safety are going out for you today - my special one.

After The Rain

Everything at Woodhaven looks so sparkling clean and the colors in the woods and in her first Spring garden are so vibrant and beautiful. Plants were moved last fall without much memory of what colors. All put in the ground in her new garden and she is pleased as all unfolds. As each plant blooms it is almost like a gift. The ground is still damp and it sure makes weeding easy. No weeds in her small 12x12 kitchen garden as it almost washed away. Time will tell what seeds did not wash away.
A lot of water still surrounds the area where my youngest daughter lives.
Wherever you are may you have a day that is filled with peace.

Sax Meditations by Walter Beasley
Anne, the marketing person, wrote me to see if I would listen to this relaxing music and write a review on "Sax Meditations" by Walter Beasley.Walter Beasley is a famous contemporary jazz artist. Since 1998, he has been one of the ten highest selling sax men in the world while continuing his highly influential work as a full professor of music at his alma mater, The Berklee School of Music, where he began teaching the the mid-80s. In 2007, Beasley - also the highest selling full-time teacher ever-celebrated his 20th year as a best selling artist.
I like what is shared on the inside cover of the CD.
"There has never been a project in which I have been involved that has given me so much satisfaction and comfort. My intent was to make a project that from start to finish reduces stress and stimulates imagination."
The evening of the day it was received it was put on my Bose player. One Woman found the music very relaxing and peaceful. A new sound was introduced to her.
Send me a brief comment or just your name - I will draw a name in a week and have the winner sent a copy of "Sax Meditations."
