RAINING ALL WEEKEND
hoping for computer and camera help sometime soon
from my brilliant youngest granddaughter
who welcomes the rain
like my header.....
JUST READ THIS
"HE IS HAPPIEST
BE IT KING OR PEASANT
WHO FINDS
HAPPINESS
IN HIS OWN HOME"
I have always been happiest in my own home
really would dream of other places but when it came
right down to it
did not want to leave my home
guess never a traveler.
At the present time
it seems
I have two homes
back and forth between them
and
both with excellent perks.
At the moment it seems I never stop
doing, writing and organizing,
Days go by quickly
time seems faster then ever
so is it me or my imagination.
Narrowing down the advantages
and disadvantages
as this cannot go on forever.
But
I am taking my time,
So many stories in this beautiful place
and sometimes feel I am here
to help and uplift others.
Then sometimes I think
"what about me"
now
One Woman
that is not nice,

Change, back and forth, good days, bad days, time speeding up but never slowing down.
So much to do.
I hear you.

Good Morning! Glad to see you staying busy as usual. I love the new opportunities you're finding there. It is so wonderful that you are able to bring comfort and peace to others. Are you doing PT there for strength and balance? I need to find some kind of exercise I can do safely.
SKY, Tharaphy arriving soon
but
every morning before I get up
I do exercises in my bed (hopefully when son arrives I will feel comfortable doing on floor.
I lift legs 15 times, pelvis, bend knees, legs side ways, pelvic lift, holding small weights
lift arms, sit on side of bed and do leg exercises also use strap my son gave me, you hold behind arms to help posture - difficult to explain - also do these same things in chair
at least 30 minutes to 45 minutes. A way of life for me, done years, but on the floor
or holding hands on kitchen cabinet - you can do it but have to begin and never stop,
I walk the halls here at least a dozen times a day. Cannot have knee or shoulder surgery
and just plan on moving (I am in pain) until I drop...
WWW, :)
I have given a few friends a link to your "journey". They, too, are on a similar journey. I am thankful you explain so well the pros and cons of your situation while exhibiting a strong determination to make the best of life where you are. I'm SO proud of you (as if we've ever met), hahaha!
Rebecca, thank you for your kind words, all I know at the present time is that you have to keep moving and many times I sure do not feel like it :)
It’s great to hear that you are busy and that you are reaching out to your newly extended community. And .... what a blissful photo! You have taught your children and grandchildren to relish these moments of pure joy. Is there anything better for us to pass on to them?
Dear Ernestine ~ I, for one, have been blessed and encouraged by your writings and the sharing of your life since I started following you years ago. You also inspire me. Thank you dear one~ FlowerLady
I like the joyful photo of your granddaughter embracing the rain. :-) Inspired by your determination and resourcefulness. Sending sunny thoughts and a big hug.
Yes, time for you is important too. Slow and steady wins the race, they say.
You know if you have been placed there for that, then you are truly, truly blessed to be able to listen & help others.
