Sharing

Checking in and will share a little and more later.

A wonderful holiday time with some of family
and my cakes sent to daughter in Tampa
arrived safely :)

My son introduced me to bath salts from Japan
and they may replace medication I have been taking for aches and pain.
Oh my
what an experience with 20 minutes of soaking
resulting in a no pain night and slept like someone taking a sleeping pill (which I never do.)
Kusatsu Onsen - oh my would like to visit.

Sale purchase, always after Christmas at 75% off.
Paper Whites with such a heavenly scent.

Fridge emptied of so much
but enough left for my evening stir fry
simple and so good
After 60 years of baking and using a small hand mixer
I used a gift card
and this is on the way from Amazon.
Almost feel guilty with the purchase - but I smile..
Will end with an image of last night
Will be back
to share more
soon.....

I purchased a Kitchen Aid more than 25 years ago. I made all of our bread and my hands were shot as I couldn't knead very good anymore. It still looks as nice as the day I bought it and it got a work out while children home. You will love it. Enjoy, enjoy.

So happy to hear about your Christmas. Would love to know more about the bath salts from Japan!!
I have had my eye on purchasing a Kitchen Aide mixer for years. Now living with son and wife, I am able to use my mother's old one as she gave it to them years ago! I love life's circles.
Happy new Year to you, Ernestine!

I've been thinking of a kitchen aid mixer too.

What is the name/brand of your bath salts from Japan? I am so glad you had a pain free night of sleep. That is wonderful!

May 2015 be a wonderful year for you dear Ernestine.

If I had a mixer like that, I'd have no excuse to go out to eat :)

Your bath salts sound marvelous. So happy you've found them - or they found you....

Happy New Year!

You've written about some of my favorite things. I look forward to living in a place with a tub so I can take relaxing baths, especially in winter.

Not sure how or why bath salts should help, but good on ya if they do.

You will love the Kitchen Aid. They are heavy...so put it somewhere that you don't have to carry it. I stlll use my little hand mixer once in a while.
You made me hungry for stir fry....now I'm going to the store for shrimp. What stir fry sauce do you use? I've tried several bottled ones, but usually make up my own.....as the bottled ones are pretty sweet.
Japanese bath salts....tell us more about them.
Have a nice day today,
Balisha

Judi, Marcia, WWW, Lorraine, Rebecca, Balisha, AC,
thanks to all for commenting...
Balisha, I use Sesame Oil now at the end
just a little - but start veggies in a little olive oil
and in past and sometimes
just low sodium Soy Sauce.
