You can go out on the porch to feel a bit of sun--I will allow that, but please--using a cane on ice or snow is useless and can be a hazard. Be patient--spring has to come soon. Love's ya
Pienosole, Judy, Barbee, Sharon and Kay, thank you :) Tomorrow, late afternoon hoping I can pull the truck out and pick up mail :) Then can you imagine almost 60 later in the week...
Don't you wish we had ruby slippers and could click our heels and winter would disappear? Maybe we could find some "spring" inside today. Spring and summer have to be better.
When I was swimming yesterday, I talked to a woman who mentioned ice cleats for shoes and boots. She said that she keeps a pair in her glove compartment, just in case she has to walk on ice. She also uses them to get up and down her driveway to the mailbox. Just a thought. Balisha
Tabor, I surely need it:) Lorraine, Sallysmom, ;) no mail delivery yesterday or today :( Balisha, how lucky to go swimming :) Ice cleats not a good idea for me. Mailbox to far away. Temperature still on 25 and no melting today - but tomorrow sun is too shine :)
At least there is all that beauty to behold out your windows. This has been an icy winter in so many places and walking is a challenge everyday. Happy to know you are safe, warm and wise!!

It looks beautiful, but do be careful and please, don't go outside until the ice has melted. Take care.

Just look at that beautiful light in the trees! And the blue shadows in snow. Thank you.
I agree - there's no safe way to maneuver on ice. Enjoy the sight from the safety of inside. Ice will soon be gone and signs of spring will appear ~
Oh my gosh! That's gorgeous!

The ice looks like sparkly diamonds in that second photo. I hope it all melts for you soon, so that you can get outside safely.

We had 3 days of ice back in January. We got no mail. It was too dangerous for the mail person to drive on my road.

Stay snug. Going out on to the ice could prove dangerous.
