First Snow In This Simple Life

Snow is falling
20 degrees
Callie at the foot of a tree
and will not return to our shelter
Birds are returning
guess they are hungry.

Callie!!!--get back in this warm house!!! We are expecting 2-4" of snow today--so glad it waited until after our Christmas get togethers.

Hoping you had a Merry Christmas. I don't know what we can do about those pets of ours. Seems as though they don't make good decisions sometimes. Maybe she will come on in soon.

Wish I had Callie’s lovely fur coat ~ I’d be out there too.

I have been amazed at watching dogs leap around in snow that is over their heads. They have a blast, so I guess Callie thought a little bit of snow blowing her way was no big deal.

It is very windy here today. Thunderstorms are expected, and turning cold tonight as it drops down into the 50's. Well, that's cold for us.

Have a great last week of 2012.

It looks like Callie is rather enjoying herself out there in the snow. Every dog I have ever shared life with, has LOVED to be out in the snow.
The storm blew past us overnight and this morning and we had near 60 MPH winds but it is too warm on the water to snow...50 degrees today. We would like a snow storm soon.

Happy New Year to you, and wishing you peace, as well. Thank you for the peace you always bring through your words.
