Special Words

Words from Sandra that spoke to me this early morning...

Thoughts of advancing storm are ever on my mind.
Two granddaughter's in New York city.
Continual prayers ever going forth...

Comfort like rain...

I've known love
the love of a man
the love of a child
the love of a friend

I've known loss
the loss of a man
the loss of a child
the loss of a friend

I've learned
how big is my heart
how long love lasts
how vivid memories are

I've never known
the loss of God's love
the loss of God's listening
the loss of God's healing

I am blessed
I am grateful
I am praying
I am seeking

I meditate
I bow
I learn
the journey
is changing
always

I love the smooth stones of
love dropped in my heart

each day to awaken
in the knowledge of love
shines like gold
sparkles like diamonds
comforts like rain......

Take care with the storm. I am hoping all you get are some flooded driveways. Distant bands are just beginning to hit my woods.

I have the money to buy a round trip plane ticket to your home and farm, I would. I love to visit you.

Another thought, I encourage you to visit me here. Just do it. I think you'd enjoy it.

But aside from those two thoughts above, just want you to know I am thinking of you ...

Love,
Liza

Dear dear Liza, you are welcome anytime - but understand my lifestyle. One elderly woman far from anyone or anything. Up early for meditation and in small garden.
Then computer, lunch, evening meal and meditate once again about 7:00
and in bed. This is ideal if someone wants quiet isolation.
Nothing the world offers here by the woods - but what nature offers is abundant.
Family comes and goes as their involvements allow.
All will be here for my birthday in October, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
If I ever felt up to traveling I would visit you. I cherish the invitation. First if I can travel would be to Thailand to visit my son. Love you....

Thank you for posting my poem. Thank you, because if it touches and helps someone, I am happy.

I'm with you on the mostly quiet and solitary. I can do this in my mind, separate myself into silence. I have arranged more quiet by having the TV off all day now, several days a week.

Blessings One Woman of the woodlands. ❤
