Peace

My special time outside
is early in the morning
as dawn approaches.
With son and family visiting
staying up later.
At sundown the garden
is filled with birds.
Hummingbirds everywhere
sitting on branches.
My camera cannot
capture the wonder
viewed with my eyes.
At this time in my life
I am more aware then
ever
that at times
the days are
long and many times short
one thing for sure
 the years are short.....

I ask myself
is there something else
I am to do
while experiencing
this lifetime?

It seems I am most
content when I can
just enjoy the moment
with no questions
"just be"

'Just be' oh yes, if that's how I could be all day long, instead of allowing things to get to me.

Thank you for your gentle thoughts this morning.

Oh, yes, as FlowerLady says, just be, how often in the very busy, must do years, do we wish to just be? Your early morning walks are such prime examples.....enjoy. Love the photos!

I stopped pushing myself years ago and thinking I had obligations that must be fulfilled. I am much happier now. Just 'be'.

Lovely photos. I think the one of the Cardinal on top of the bird house is a winner.

Flower Lady, Marcia, Sky, Cate, Judy, Sandra, Beverly, Laura, Balisha and Darlene -
thanks to all of you for visiting.
At the moment waiting for my son to return from Nashville, I will make a early light meal.
Tomorrow most of family close by will be here - to hot to grill and I will cook salmon and fresh vegetable and of course several deserts and make fruit tea
Each of you know - you are special to one aging lady in the woods....
This is a special time. He looks so good. But then when most of your life is yoga, reading, meditating, teaching - it helps..

As the quote on Laura's blog says, "Just to be is a blessing." You are enjoying all of your blessings now.

May you feel peaceful and at ease ~

Ah, the big question that leads to most suffering, "Is there something else?"
