Thinking creates so many problems,
And, yet it is always trying
to solve problems,
Imaginary problems
and imaginary solutions
Goes on and on.
When you can just be
There are no problems,
When you want to "become"
Endless problems arise.
Why is it so difficult
To just be?

So appropriate for this very moment in my life. As I read your post, my mind was spinning with ways to comfort a friend who is grieving in many ways. For her, too, it is a result of too much thinking. I wish I could find the switch to turn off my "think machine"....
Beautiful post! Wishing you a very happy day.
What a beautiful photo to greet this day! Nature so often reminds me to just be ~
Oh, my gosh..One time while playing checkers with my Grandson...he said, "Grandma, you think too much." Sometimes I wish I could turn off my thinking machine too...This post really hit home.

Oh yes - wish I could turn off my "think Machine"..
just checking in to say hi. nice post. hope you are having a good weekend. :)
How many times have I wanted to turn off the "thinking machine"! The saying, "I think, therefore I am" is true in my case. Too much thinking on life and I get depressed. Too much thinking I was a dummy in math, when I was younger, made me a dummy in math. Ah--just to be. How is that possible?
how true. It seems our thoughts keep rippling the peaceful surface of the waters.
