Simple Pleasure

Spotting a deer in the front field
still makes me smile
When wheat is cut a lot falls
on the ground.  It has been
discovered by deer and squirrels

3 turning tomato's, 1 cucumber, l green pepper,
8 zucchini and a couple of handfuls
of green beans
enough for one
Need to dig up the potatoes
wonder what size they are now
I liked them when they were small

One small package of beans sowed
and this is the third time I have
picked this amount

One large zucchini plant looks like
something is killing it.  I kept
sharing only 2 were needed
guess that now is my number

The childhood friend of my daughter
Her best friend
is visiting after work
I will share some rapidly
 spreading plants

The dear and the beautiful harvest. You are doing what many of us would love to do. Growing some of your own food! I think you are awesome.

Happy Day.

I found a spot for everything last night after church, except the ground cover. I'm stil undecided, but will get it in the ground this afternoon! Thank you so much for sharing your plants and the sweet tea! Your cottage is just beautiful!

Judy, Sandra and Sky, thank you for visiting.
Amy, please come again real soon - enjoyed you so very much - ground cover would be good around your shrubs in front of house. Takes the place of mulch...

When I am moving too fast through my day, I slow down to read your post and sink more into the space I inhabit.

Thank you.
