Planting Patience

When you plant seeds in the garden, you don't dig them up every day to see if they have sprouted yet.
You simply water them and clear away the weeds; you know that the seeds will grow in time.  Similarly, just do your daily practice and cultivate a kind heart.   Abandon impatience and instead be content creating the causes for goodness; the results will come when they're ready.

Love the day lilies--I have lots and the other kind that last longer then a day--but--mine are only in the bud stage. Patience!

My all-time favorite garden flower, maybe because it's the first plant that prospered under my care. Mine are still getting acclimated after transplant, but maybe I will get more blooms than I did last year.

Your comments on my last post meant more than I can say, about sensing confidence and being proud of me. Thank you.

I love daylilies, the yellow variety especially. I have one orange one blooming at the side of the house. Beautiful!

Lovely, the pink one especially! Last year I bought my son and wife about 1000 daylillies. I cannot wait to see them in a few weeks. Ours usually bloom about the 4th of July....right along with the fireworks.
