I am not at my usual posting self as of yet. I am reading entries. A surprise when I just went to my daughter's blog. Made me smile and tears in my eyes. Sometimes you think your children really do not know you. Jamie knows her mom that is one thing for sure.
Entry from One Woman on this unusually warm day in Nashville. 72 degrees.

Ernestine, What a great tribute to you! I know you are very pleased. I would be! I enjoyed reading about you being green before anyone else was green. It's kind of like that song "I was country when country wasn't cool!"
I know you must have been so happy to read that post. It is so heartwarming to know that they really did soak in what you were trying to teach. Too bad her thumb is not green too.lol
This was probably the best medicine for you. Ages and times may be different, distances may be large, but isnt it wonderful that your daughter's daughter, is now learning to enjoy, what you taught your daughter, in her younger, greener, cool days ?
That is really very sweet! I am glad to know that you are feeling better.
It is always fascinating seeing ourselves through the eyes of others...but really important when they are the eyes of someone we love very much! That kind of praise is golden.
Jamie certainly does know her Mom and we followers of your blog most certainly agree with her.
You were truly a trendsetter and a very hard working one, at that. It's nice that Jamie appreciates your abilities.
Wonderful! I left a comment there too, but I thought I'd leave one here also. Needless to say (because both of us, and Jaime knows this) we are so much alike. I love country living and digging dirt :)
My friends Joe and Karen are trying to buy a 7 acre farm in Virginia. I gave them the link to your blog :)
Sonny, our little Italian Greyhound is doing well - I still can't believe we adopted a dog, but we are all in love with this little guy :)
Aloha,

"Her children arise and call her blessed . . ."
Enjoy your blessing. : D
