So Sorry

I struggle to write.

Thank you, everyone, for your special words, encouragement, and friendship.

A miracle if I bounce back
always believed in miracles
but may not happen

Told last week
my immune system was shutting down

struggling too even move

So many things I believed in my life
not happening

Hospice has been called in

So sorry for my family
and do not want to linger like this

I will say
the mind is still fine.

A lot of help arriving
but never wanted help doing the things I love....

Of course, I do not know what to write to send you energy. May you have many peaceful days ahead and I am sure your family just want you comfortable. Maybe your helper can input some thoughts to blogger for you? You have been so inspiring with your recipes, your gardens, your woods. I look forward to each and every post.

I can only imagine the struggle you've had arriving at this place. Youve lived life so valiantly. Even stubbornly at times. Now facing yet another reality, I pray you'll place all your faith in the love of God demonstrated on the cross of Christ Jesus and move gently into best life EVER. I love "knowing" you via your blog. Your verve and zest for living continue to inspire me. ❤️

My Dear Ernestine,
You have been my guide and mentor for so many years. You have taught me to value my independence, appreciate my surroundings and resonate in nature. I have appreciated every single post and email and have wished over and over that I lived down the road. In my mind I am sitting with you right now being so grateful for your life and the gifts you have given me and so many others. I want you to know that you have inspired me and so many others with your words and camera to live a better life. I love you my friend. You are in my heart today and always.

Your special Woodhaven, flowers, dear little dog. Wow, you spread all that joy and beauty and strength out over the internet to inspire so many of us.
