because of all the rain
but late this afternoon
the crew of 4 arrived with heavy blowers
to clean leaves from around this cottage and also on roof cleaning gutters.
Things change, but with much checking it is less expensive for me to live here then in a condo.
Maintenance fee's of $400 a month and up year round. Until 3 years ago Nashville was an option but
not any more as prices have probably doubled for living arrangements and homes of any kind.
My small home in Nashville sold 7 years ago has doubled in price, but so happy I escaped
to the woods. But a surprise that I can no longer do the outside work I loved to do.
Silly me, I thought I could do it forever.

I felt a feeling of warm welcome when I saw the last photo of the wreath. :-}
Happy for you. So delighted you are all anticipation even though body cries enough to physical work.

Ahhhhhh. That wonderful/rustic welcome photo!
And yes. One can hire quite a bit of work for the maintenance fees charge at many condos, etc.

Pienosole, WWW, Rebecca and life coach,
thanking you always for your visits.
You are the wind beneath my feet at this time of life :)
As long as you have helpful helpers, you are all set!
We never let it enter our minds that we will not be able to do the things we love. Hubby does much around here and eventually we are hiring people to help...but the time may come when I will have to wrench him away to a more citified life.
I tell my husband that at this age we need to work smart and not be invested in "i did it myself.' What a lovely house! I have fond memories of the woods in the south.
