It Seems

It seems I become so upset when my computer has a problem.

The problem last night I could not write new entry for my journal.
Did all I know, nothing successful, kept me awake in the night and now
this morning seemed to be able to correct or it did it on its own.

So day begins and picture just sent by my son far over the ocean in Thailand
from a friends balcony.
A reality and a blessing
the farthest away of my children
and he always immediately responds to me.....
His location 13 hours ahead, so evening there and he knows I am up before anyone else.
Soon will be hearing from
daughters, one just returned from quick trip with family, getting children to school
and going to work.  Everyone busy, but remember that time with 5 children in the home..

A new day begins
last visit of therapist until next year and he will be missed.

Frustrations of our own this morning as we try to troubleshoot our DISH network set up for my elderly father who has come to stay with us. We never had cable-type TV before, but he requested it. Technology! The good, the bad and the ugly!

Your day sounds to be starting out beautifully. Enjoy your space, your life, the health you have. And BAKE on! (I have plans to bake some orange slice cookies with my father - they were one of my mother's treats - to take to Thanksgiving gathering next week.....)

I know I need to take my computer into the shop to be cleaned--inside and out, but can't bear the thought of being without it for a couple of days--so we limp on.

In my experience......when computer will not do what I want it to do..... completely shut it down......let it "rest" a while.....then turn it back on.....

Often, it just needed that "rest"......which "rest" is not the same for computers, as it is for us....(especially older) computers need time, to reset all their inner workings....all those sites, they have been trying to open, and close, and etc.

Computer trouble....shut it down completely for a while....it is worth a try. :-)

And btw, I am on a really old computer. An iMac, which I love dearly. But it is too old, to handle new updates.

It is too old to keep up with all the sites, which open, every time I go to certain news sites, and the like.

I can't stop these unwanted sites, from opening, either.

So after I have been to lots of sites, I shut down. That lets the History be cleared. And my old iMac can start fresh again, the next time I come on.

Wondering how many people Clear History, and close their browser (I think that is what my Firefox, is called), often? It is really, really important, to wipe all that History off. It just builds up and builds up and builds up.

Maybe you need to look into one of those simpler computers for us elders rather than one that does everything...which you do not need. Some of our children are part of our soul...others we just love.

Catching up with you again. I so love your writing and glad you are back into baking and posting pics of your children's perceptions.
