The Way It Is

A cool
but I like it morning
of 42 degrees.

Busy week, trying to learn about new camera with 25 zoom,
television just stopped, rarely watch , do like local morning news.  Purchased a new one and help installed
Left door to screen porch open for a minute earlier in the week
and a bird in the house for several days, finally caught in a net and know it was thankful and
also this one.

Then and Now
my youngest granddaughter
who is a carbon copy of my youngest daughter
Jamie is now cheer leading.

and her sister playing soccer.   At end of season this year she suffered a concussion :(
now fine and the younger one who broke her arm is now fine :)

Time
you are going by
so quickly....

My bed is very high
and now at night somewhat
difficult to get out of,
ordered a metal frame from Amazon
a lot of good comments,
it lowers mattress and box springs
and it was installed yesterday.
Will have to get use to it as bed now 6 to 8 inches lower
and I feel like practically on floor :)
If I do not adjust to this
will just go back to the higher bed...

Those girls!! So upsetting having a bird in the house. I hate to see birds nervous. I love the look of the bed. Cozy and welcoming. I know I would like the low better.

Thank you!

I found your blog!

Your grands are so cute, then and now. Just beautiful.

I so look forward to seeing more, of your life in your cottage. Oh how I wish we had a cottage, but due to circumstances, we will stay in the family home, next door to one of our sons.

Happy late Autumn,
Luna Crone

I see it's getting cooler by you - here in CO, too. Nights go below freezing, and we have a bit of snow on the ground. I can tell time is flying by when I see how the Grands are growing. We just got a mattress that is higher than our old one. I have to slide off it!

Those granddaughters are so lovely and growing into such beautiful women. You are certainly blest. You will adjust to the bed, just be patient with yourself. Learning new things takes time.

Aren't these cooler temperatures stimulating?!?
Your g'daughters are beautiful and look so healthy and energetic.
Hope the bed works out and you don't have to go back to the higher one. Much safer and wise, I should think...

Lovely granddaughters, then and now. Glad everyone has recuperated from injuries.

I just checked our weather and it is 62 and feels like it is 59. WOW! That is wonderful!!!

My bed is also 'high'. I've been thinking of having the bottoms of the head and footboards cut off, but maybe there is an easier way to lower the mattress.

Have a lovely Sunday and a great week and thank you so much for your kind and encouraging comment on my latest blog post.

Always love the photos of your home and family. Those are the most important!

I like the idea of the lower bed. One less thing to worry about!

Sending love!

I like my bed high as it is easier to slip out of then one too close to the floor that I'd have to stand up from. I swing my legs over the side and push up on the mattress and then stand. So far, so good.
