Quick Update

I am in the city this morning. Have a dental appointment to have a tooth pulled. First time experience for me. Hopefully all goes well and I can return to the country after this procedure
I have all teeth - even wisdom teeth. 3 crowns and several fillings. Do not like that I have to have this done. Have been to several specialist. Cracked a tooth - so onward I go..
I am experiencing extreme arthritis at night. Do not like this. It is either the work I am doing or old age!!!

Picked 10 squash out of my small city garden. In the country - friends have supplied me with 10 dozen ears of corn, squash and green beans to put in my new small freezer. My flowers in the city are spectacular. If a flower garden will sell a home - then this home is gone.

The deer and birds that would scatter when I walked outside are now paying no attention to me.
Do hummingbirds attack? Yesterday as I approached my beginning garden and their feeder - they were buzzing around my head. Unsettled this One Woman.

I continue to clean garden area, plant seed, view the spectacular sunsets and sit still and stay busy.

Such a difference when I come to my city home. This home has so many fine details and the country cottage built so simply. I see the difference when I walk in this home. I like the sparseness of the country cottage but it seems such a contradiction to the still filled city home.
It almost makes me feel unsettled. Like I am part of two worlds.

I have still have a lot of unanswered questions about creating, selling, moving and just where I am on my life journey. If this makes sense.

Hopefully I will soon have my computer in the country. I am beginning to miss writing and taking images.

I have taken several and forgot to put my camera in my pickup early this morning.

So all is well with One Woman.

She is just on a different journey at this time.

Thanks to all who contacted me and had thoughts of my journey.

I am so glad to read this post and know that you are well, except for the tooth issue. I think that you are unsettled because you ARE living in two worlds. It takes some time to pull away from all that you know and are comfortable with. If you do decide that the country house is not what you thought, you can always change your mind. And I do not think that hummingbirds will hurt you. They are just setting up territory. Ours are (were) very shy.

Hello to the lady with each foot in a different world. It is so good to have you touch base here. Sorry to hear about needing dental work. It has to have been worrisome.
The Hummingbirds here are great teasers and love to dance and swoop around just out of reach. They have always announced their arrival by hovering in front of our windows in the spring, especially if we have not already put out the feeders. We have never had them tame enough to land close or on a shoulder, but I have heard that happens from time to time.
Enjoy this time of transition, after all it is what you do between being where you choose to be.

I so hope that all goes well with the tooth - such trips to the dentist are never fun, but (alas) sometimes necessary

I wanted everyone to know that my mom's dental procedure went great. YEA! No problems at all and the dentist said that it was a good thing she had it pulled because it was cracked all the way through.

Thanks for checking on her. She loves to hear from you all.

I think she might go ahead and set up her computer at her country home soon.

Hi Ernestine, Glad to hear that you are o.k. except for the tooth and arthritis. I hope the dentist experience goes well. The arthritis is probably from living in a new place and doing things you have not done for a while. It is pretty humid here right now and that always bothers my arthritis. Glad that you are getting settled in the new place. It is good to hear from you.

I will be glad when you have your computer. I miss hearing from you and I want to email you...
It sounds like you are really liking your new country home, but, I know how you feel still being connected to the city house. Until it is out of the picture, you are sure to feel torn....
Don't do too much...that is probably why Arthur had come to visit (that is what my mother would always say)LOL....I miss you....
