Beautiful But Ice

Beautiful view
but still cannot step outside
Do not think
mail delivered on this rural
road
but can not get to vehicle
because of ice.

Really does not matter
just missing going outside...

  1. It looks beautiful, but do be careful and please, don't go outside until the ice has melted. Take care.

  2. You can go out on the porch to feel a bit of sun--I will allow that, but please--using a cane on ice or snow is useless and can be a hazard. Be patient--spring has to come soon. Love's ya

  3. Just look at that beautiful light in the trees! And the blue shadows in snow. Thank you.

  4. I agree - there's no safe way to maneuver on ice. Enjoy the sight from the safety of inside. Ice will soon be gone and signs of spring will appear ~

    Tomorrow, late afternoon
hoping I can pull the truck out and pick up mail :)
    Then can you imagine
almost 60 later in the week...

  7. The ice looks like sparkly diamonds in that second photo. I hope it all melts for you soon, so that you can get outside safely.

  8. Don't you wish we had ruby slippers and could click our heels and winter would disappear?
Maybe we could find some "spring" inside today. Spring and summer have to be better.

    Be careful.

  9. We had 3 days of ice back in January. We got no mail. It was too dangerous for the mail person to drive on my road.

  10. When I was swimming yesterday, I talked to a woman who mentioned ice cleats for shoes and boots. She said that she keeps a pair in her glove compartment, just in case she has to walk on ice. She also uses them to get up and down her driveway to the mailbox. Just a thought.

Balisha, how lucky to go swimming :)
Ice cleats not a good idea for me.
    Mailbox to far away.
Temperature still on 25 and no melting today - but tomorrow

  13. Stay snug. Going out on to the ice could prove dangerous.

  14. At least there is all that beauty to behold out your windows. This has been an icy winter in so many places and walking is a challenge everyday. Happy to know you are safe, warm and wise!!

  15. Things will change, the ice will melt, meanwhile you have beautiful views from your window and plenty of good books to enjoy.

  16. Quadtrek Ice cleats for shoes are the best traction cleats to wear during winter.
