Little Frog

Just finished watching a movie on the loft area of this cottage.
Went into bathroom
lifted the toilet seat
and there was a frog
sitting on the rim of the toilet.

Picked it up with a tissue and took
downstairs
to porch and made an image of it.

In this image it looks brown because of the sun.
It was a little green frog.

Now if it had been downstairs
I would have thought it came in one of the doors.
But how did it get upstairs?

A mystery to me....

Maybe I need to put up a little sign
in that guest area
telling  guests
to watch for frogs :)

Mystery solved - I think I brought it upstairs on my clothes
or laundry and it was looking for water.
I am up and down the stairs several times a day and it
is where I take laundry that needs to be ironed.
My ironing board stays up all the time in the storage room....

  2. Beverly, picked it up with a tissue.
How in the world did it get up all those stairs :)

  3. I would have gotten the shiver me timbers if that has happened to me. Yikes.

You were calm. Good for you.

    Cute little froggie.

  4. Darling. Maybe a peeper? They are tiny, and this one looks tiny. They can live for three years.

  5. Darling little frog was just trying to find water...good that you saved him. I usually scoop them into something to carry them out.

  7. Frog are such gentle creatures...but sometimes hard to get a hold of. I rarely use tissues, but they always pee in my hand before I move them! Thanks for saving the little critter. Maybe hopped from a nearby tree to an open window? Maybe through a space in the screen door and all the way upstairs? I think it is a good omen for you, but that is just me.

After much thought I came to a conclusion. It was a tiny green tree frog and it probably attached itself to my clothes or laundry that I take upstairs (I iron there)
and I took it upstairs and it was looking for water. I am up and down the stairs a few times daily.

  10. Oh, I love little frogs - their tiny feet, how rubbery they feel :) Glad he found someone to gently take him back to his home outside.
