Sun going down
doing some yoga stretches
I looked through the door
and out a back window.
I have never noticed
how beautiful this
old tree is
with the end of the day
sun on it...
What a thoughtful post. How wonderful you were able to notice something that has been there all along. Yes, I wonder, too, how much I miss that is right before my eyes.
It is wonderful that life finally slows down long enough to notice beauty like this, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteThe slowing down only comes in bits and pieces.
ReplyDeleteDesire much more...
That's part of mindfulness I think. Paying close attention to things around us and taking notice of things afresh.

happens to me all the time. a nice surprise, a pleasant awakening.
ReplyDeleteWe notice these things when they are meant to be noticed. I haven't been by in a while, so am glad to see you are well, dear friend.
ReplyDeleteBalisha, Sandy and Deborah, thanks for visiting..
ReplyDeleteWhen the sun shines just right I sometimes see something I hadn't noticed before. It's nice to discover something new ~
