I know most people don't do it this way, but it is definitely better for me. And, onions? Where would we be without onions? Some times, when I'm low on veggies, or have nothing but onions, I roast one or two with a little olive oil and and herb, perhaps a little cheese! Twice a week we have eggs of some sort and maybe a couple strips of bacon.I enjoy teas of many kinds. English Breakfast tea is a favorite.
Our biggest meal is in the early afternoon. Then before bed I have the same as you....yogurt and fruit. I love vegetables and often just a bowl of warmed carrots or broccoli satisfies me.
We try not to eat much sugar, but when we do we eat a couple squares of ghirardelli dark chocolate or homemade cookies:)
Once in a while we have icecream or sherbert. I tried gelatto last week for the first time and thought it was delicious.
I watched a chef prepare scrambled eggs using water too. The constant stirring makes for tender eggs. Joe makes them in a glass measure in the microwave. Very fluffy.
I did a post on the onion too...several years ago.I don't know what I would do without onions. They improve the flavor in so many dishes.
This is almost as long as a post...so
Bye for now...Balisha
Balishahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17298193443371503407noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7684927768388749969.post-20529120838305352672014-01-08T10:09:53.633-05:002014-01-08T10:09:53.633-05:00As long as you eat a balance of protein, fat, carb...As long as you eat a balance of protein, fat, carbs and fiber and as long as you maintain a minimum number of calories, you can eat when you want.
