I take nothing for granted with my health issues as I know it can snap in a second, no matter our health or precautions. So fire away. You are a power to be reckoned with. She needs to research good surgeons. Our weather here is wonderful as well. Lots of fallen leaves and lots of cooler breezes. I live in Minneapolis and the last week has been much cooler here too. No more AC for this year! I love sitting on my patio with a book and enjoying my flowers.<br /> I am writing this from the North Shore of Lake Superior where I will be for a few days. It was supposed to be a biking and hiking trip but it seems that I have torn my meniscus so my knee is swollen and painful. I was dismayed when the doc told me that surgery for torn meniscus is not effective after age 55 so now I am stuck with this major change to my life at 68. I am grateful that I have my books and gardens. I am grateful too that I have learned so much from your wise words over these last years! It always seems to come as shock when we are told that such and such can't be changed because of our age. I will follow your example and enjoy the things that I can do and be grateful for what was.Carolyn Mariehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01716001499812599081noreply@blogger.com
