    They are pretty, but can be destructive to one's garden. I have a scarecrow set up to try and keep deer from eating my peas.

    What a great photo! It is hard to catch them before they startle. We had a deer in the yard the other day, a young one, and I stood quietly and watched as long as they stayed.
