  2. Ouch, hope you feel better soon. Shingles are a nasty business and coming after a tooth removal, they are a particularly nasty business. Holding you in my thoughts.

    Not from the tooth extraction--right?
I got the Shingles vaccine a couple of years ago. I thought you did too.

  6. Shingles I've experienced. A very mild case.
    Enough for me!
I was wondering where you've been.

  7. So sorry to hear you got this. My husband got the shingles after getting a shingles shot so for some there may be no escaping it. I saw somewhere in the news that they have now got a better vaccine. Not very helpful at this point. Hoping you get better soon. Spring is indeed "around the corner".

  21. I was thinking about you and am hoping you are out of the hospital by now. I have had shingles before and they are so painful. Mine hurt for quite some time before the ugly rash appeared. I couldn't imagine what in the world was causing me pain, when the rash appeared, I knew. You are the second person that blogs that I have read had shingles after a dental procedure. I wonder what the tie in between shingles and dental work is.

I hope you are feeling better and the shingles will run their course quickly.

    Take care.

    Susie D.
