A New Day Begins

Yes, a new day and not many left in the year of 2015 and it seems to this one that the year went
by so quickly.

A cold morning, in the 20's, a good at home day and a lot to do.

Begins

on the mat and since a lot of pain was not easy - but not stopping.

Callie is still sleeping and usually she watches me

A hearty breakfast of waffles covered with blueberries, cherries, bananas, flax seeds
and maple syrup
Made a list for the following week, something I have always done and my oldest daughter
in Tampa sent me her list.   A busy one with her daughter and husband and son and friend
visiting for several days.

She recommended this after I shared about cramps in hands and feet at night

magnesium never entered my mind...

Need to clean all drains this morning
with mixture of baking soda, vinegar and boiling water.

On my list for market I need to add apples as I am going to make a fresh apple cake
for family when they visit on Christmas Eve for lunch.   Lunch will be easier for me
instead of breakfast or an evening meal and seems everyone anxious to return
to their homes for Christmas Day..

I smile every time I remember my son in Thailand, in his recent phone call to me  sharing that a childhood friend
who I knew well, now living over the ocean also - named new baby girl
"Tennessee."

I wish
all of my children and grandchildren
could be here for Christmas.

Maybe someday.....

I had a great grandmother, a Cherokee woman, named Tennessee. I love it!

I hope your holidays are beautiful and bright. Sending love!

I love the name and good for you with the exercises, I need more of your discipline. And faith - I am very similar to you in that I would absolutely take a chance on UPS, but lesson learned on 3rd part sellers.

I was thinking it might be a vitamin or mineral issues since as we age we do not absorb as well from our nutrients. I hope this additional supplement helps. Yes, I have many fewer children than you, only two, and one will be away at their in-laws for Christmas. That is just the way it is.

My mother-in-law made fresh apple cake every Thanksgiving and Christmas. She passed away in the 80's and it was just this last year that I made my first one. Of course, hers was better (or at least in my memory it was). I bet yours was wonderful. Have a very Merry Christmas.
